2009/2010 New Year Holidays at the Lake

Great to see new members and old making use of some fantastic skiing conditions at the lake over the Christmas and new year period. Even NZ Sevens Star Ben Souness was showing some great form on the slalom course now that he is back in the country for a while

A few improvements to the club have been happenning:

1. Bright new slalom and boat guide buoys have replaced the old ones. No excuses for hitting buoys because you couldn't see them.
   These now have bungies attached to them so if it does get caught under your boat it won't break the cord but spring back into place
2. The jump and associated buoys have been removed to allow for more room for general skiing away from the slalom course. Perfect for wakeboarders, kneeboarders and people learning to ski
3. New carpet has been placed on the ski dock thanks to Rampage fitness
4. The gate now will be padlocked for security reasons so please remember to lock it if you are the last one to leave
